So today.. was crappy. Not a good day at all! First of all, my car died yesterday and we didn't have time to jump it this morning so we had to get a ride to school. I hate not having my car with me at school. Then I spent all day studying for my math test. And I still didn't feel ready. Yeah... I think I bombed it. Who cares. I have a high A in the class. And I just didn't feel well all day. But just now... I was listening to this new Kelly Clarkson song that I absolutely LOVE. It is called The Sun Will Rise. It is just such an uplifting song. Makes me feel better :)
Here are the lyrics:
"The Sun Will Rise"
(with Kara DioGuardi)
I can see the weight there in your eyes
I can feel the thorn in your side
Your knuckles are bruised from a losing fight
One way down a dead end street
Broken glass underneath your feet
You think the day won't break the sunless night
The sun will rise
The sun will rise
When you've lost your lights
The sun will rise
It'll be alright
It'll be alright
I've been in stuck in a storm before
Felt the wind raging at my door
Couldn't move, couldn't breathe, couldn't find a way out
Somehow my clouds disappeared
Somehow I made it here
Maybe just so you could hear me say
The sun will rise
The sun will rise (The sun will rise)
When you've lost your lights
The sun will rise
It'll be alright (It'll be alright)
It'll be alright
It'll be alright
It'll be alright
And though you can't see it's
So hard to believe it
Sometimes you just need a little faith (All you need is a little faith)
There's an answer to your prayer
And I swear that there'll come a day, yeah
The sun will rise
The sun will rise (The sun will rise)
The sun will rise (The sun will rise)
The sun will rise
Yeah
The sun will rise
The sun will rise
The sun will rise
It'll be alright
It'll be alright (Eeyeaheeyeah)
It'll be alright (Eeyeaheeyeah)
It'll be alright (Eeyeaheeyeah)
The sun will rise
"But down the road the sun is shining In every cloud there's a silver lining Just keep holding on (just keep holding on) And every heartache makes you stronger But it won't be much longer You'll find love, you'll find peace And the you you're meant to be I know right now that's not the way you feel But one day you will"- Lady Antebellum

I have the best job!
I work at the Soldier Hollow tubing hill, and can I just say that it is the best job EVER? Well, apart from freezing to death every single time I work, it is awesome! I work with some pretty fun people and they just make it so great! We all goof around so much while doing our jobs well. It is a good time that is for sure!
One thing that I absolutely love about my job is just getting to talk to people. My job is so costumer service based, but we aren't selling anything! (As my supervisor Forrest would say it) I talk to lots of people everyday and just ask them questions like where they are from and stuff like that. It is always fun to joke around with them too and make sure that they have a good time and experience which makes them want to come again!
The kids are always fun to talk to! They are so dang cute and I love seeing the giant smiles on their faces when they go down the hill or just finish. They are always like " THAT WAS AWESOME!" or "THAT WAS THE FUNNEST THING EVER!'. It just makes me so happy and so happy to be there helping them have fun! A couple times while I have worked, some kids with either down syndrome or autism have come and I love to see them having fun. Yesterday there was a boy there named Parker who was autistic. I was talking to his mom and she told me that she was so happy he would out there having fun because he would normally prefer to just sit in his room and read. It made me so happy to see him having so much fun.
I am glad that I can do something for these people, even though it is pretty small. I am so grateful for my job and for the people that I get to interact with every time. I am so blessed!

"This is a new year. A new beginning. Things will change" -Taylor Swift
This is my last semester in high school. I have been thinking about this and the future a lot lately and it is such a bittersweet feeling. I have had an interesting high school experience, especially with moving my senior year. But I am grateful for the good memories and friendships that I have made along the way. But once high school is over, then what? I am hoping and praying to go to BYU in the summer! But if not I have a couple options. UVU or BYU Idaho! We will just have to wait and see what happens.
But this is just what I have been thinking about lately and what has been on my mind.
